Kaiser Permanente Seafair Torchlight Run

The Kaiser Permanente Seafair Torchlight Run is back again, returning on Saturday, July 25, 2026. This fan favorite will once again fill the streets of Seattle as thousands of participants lace up their sneakers and race ahead of the iconic Alaska Airlines Seafair Torchlight Parade. The race will kick off at 6:00 PM, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening of family fun and entertainment while inviting participants of all ages and abilities to take part in one of Seattle’s most vibrant summer traditions. 

Kicking off at 6:00pm, the 5K event will once again fill the streets along the downtown Seattle waterfront. This year’s theme, Light Up The Night, encourages the thousands of runners and walkers to add sparkle and glow to their race attire as they soak up golden hour views and the electric atmosphere just ahead of the Alaska Airlines Seafair Torchlight Parade. 

Set against the stunning backdrop of the newly revitalized Seattle Waterfront, the all-new race route offers runners a unique chance to experience downtown like never before. Open to runners of all experience levels, the Torchlight Run is perfect for seasoned athletes, casual joggers, first-timers, and families looking to enjoy the summer spirit of Seafair.
