About Kandace Helms:
Kandace Helms was a loving stay at home mom to Peyton and Mason. Her life was taken instantly in a head on collision while driving her son Peyton to school on March 8, 2016. Kandace always had a kind word that was complemented by her beautiful smile. This walk is in her memory and where people that love her can come together in her memory and give back to others, like she always found time to do. Kandace loved watching her son and his friends play baseball at Boger City Optimist. Kandace was a board member at The Boger City Optimist Club; she had big dreams for the future of the ball field. Kandace enjoyed the fellowship the parents share at Boger City is special; we are one big family, surrounding our children with a safe and happy environment to play baseball. This run/walk is in her memory and helps fund The Kandace Helms Foundation which is a Non-profit 501(c) 3 that funds a scholarship program for Lincoln County graduates and other youth organizations. Please direct any questions to kandacehelms5k@gmail.com
