About the KC Temple Run
Established in 2011, the KC Temple Run is an annual 5K run made successful by more than 2000 participants yearly. KC Temple Run attendees have donated truckloads of food and thousands of hygiene and cleaning items to various local charitable organizations including Valor Ranch (2019), Amethyst Place (2021), Della Lamb (2022), Hillcrest Platte Country (2023), and Mothers Refuge (2024). This year, the KC Temple Run is partnering with the Veterans Community Project (VCP). The VCP is an organization created to help Veterans returning to reacclimate to civilian life by providing services to help them learn to support themselves. This comes through different services and providing tiny homes to begin with reintegrating.
Members of the community look forward to this free event each fall. Running clubs, families of all ages, or those wanting to make a healthy choice and support a local charity find the KC Temple run a wonderful experience.
Join fellow runners on September 2, 2024 for the Kansas City Temple Run. It's a fantastic 5K, 3K, Kids 100 Yard Dash featuring a flat and fast course in Kansas City.
