Kenilworth Memorial Day 5k

Part of Kenilworth’s Memorial Day celebration, held on May 17th. This event is free and open to the community.

The Kenilworth Memorial Day 5K is more than a race. It’s a community tradition that brings neighbors, families, and friends together to honor those who served.

Held the week before Memorial Day, this event allows our community to come together locally while preserving the meaning of the holiday weekend itself. It’s a morning of movement, reflection, and connection.

Race Day Schedule

• 9:00 AM – Check-in opens
• 9:30 AM – 5K Run / Walk begins
• 10:15 AM – Kids Run (After the 5k is finished)

The race starts and finishes at 419 Richmond Rd, Kenilworth, IL, directly in front of the Kenilworth Metra train station.

It’s a central, easy-to-find location with convenient access for participants and spectators.
