Kentlands Lakelands 5k
This USATF certified 5K course winds and rolls through the new urbanist communities of Kentlands and Lakelands of Gaithersburg, giving participants the chance to experience the unique design of these award-winning neighborhoods. Modest hills make the course somewhat challenging, but not difficult for novice runners and walkers. The course also features live entertainment and two (2) water stops along the way!
Company/Friends Teams 5k
Top three winning corporate teams listed on the Foundation website and in local publications. Special Team Prizes: Team building experiences for the top three team’s runners Requirements: - Maximum of 6 runners per team and minimum of 4 runners - Top 4 runners time is counted - 1 of the top 4 runners must be of the opposite gender - Team runners must pay for individual registrations - Must be 21 to participate - Businesses may sponsor more than one team.
