About this race
L.A. Chinatown Firecracker Run Committee, Inc. (LACFRC) is a 501(C)(3) non profit organization with a non-salaried group of volunteers who donate their time and energy to organize and stage events and programs; promoting health, fitness, and cultural awareness to the greater Los Angeles community. All proceeds are reinvested in the community and surrounding areas in support of elementary schools and other non-profit organizations, providing service and programs that benefit local neighborhoods.
Join fellow runners on February 24, 2024 for the L.A. Chinatown Firecracker 5K/10K/Kiddie/Paw'er Dog Run/Walk & Bike Ride. It's a fantastic 1.6K, 30.3K, Ultra, 1K, 5K, 10K featuring a flat and fast course in Los Angeles.

PAW'er Dog Walk (Non-Timed)
The PAW'er Dog Walk is a leisurely walk with family/friends. Only the dog requires registration. All other humans are welcome to join the walk without registration.
Cycling
20 Mile Fun Bike Ride (Non-Timed)
The 20 mile bike ride is designed for the beginner rider. The route is mostly level and slow paced.
50 Mile Half Century Bike Ride (Non-Timed)
The 50 mile bike ride is designed for the more advance riders with a more challenging route than the 20 mile bike ride.

This event is exclusively for current students of Castelar St., Solano Ave., Ann St., and Logan St. elementary schools.

CLASS 5K Fun Walk (Non-Timed)
This event is exclusively for current students of Castelar St., Solano Ave., Ann St., and Logan St. elementary schools.
CLASS 10K Run/Walk
This event is exclusively for current students of Castelar St., Solano Ave., Ann St., and Logan St. elementary schools.
5K Run (Timed)
The 5K run route may be challenging and involves a hilly route. Medals are awarded for age group winners as well as overall male and female winner.
5K Fun Run/Walk (Non-Timed)
The 5K route may be challenging and involves a hilly route. Winner medals are NOT awarded for this event. Finisher medals are awarded to all who finish the walk.
10K Run/Walk (Timed)
The 10K route is a challenging up hill run with beautiful views of the Los Angeles area. Medals are awarded for age group winners as well as overall male and female winner.
Kiddie Run (Non-Timed)
The Kiddie run is approximately 1K in distance. Finisher medals are awarded to all who finish the run. The run is divided into two age groups for younger and older participants. Maximum age is 12 years old.
Virtual 5K Run/Walk
Price includes shipping. Shirt, bib, finisher medal and goodie bag included. Participants are not eligible for winner medals.
Virtual 10K Run/Walk
