About this race
Join us on Memorial Day to celebrate all of the great Americans and their families and supporters who have earned the right to be honored and cherished on Memorial Day each year. The event will have three timed-races on May 25, 2026. The Half Marathon is on a picturesque and challenging course that showcases the beauty of Laguna Hills and the surrounding cities. The 5k and 10k runs will tour the streets of Laguna Hills, and offers a distance and challenge for runners of all ages and abilities. Children can be a part of the event by registering for the Kids Run.

Recon Challenge (Virtual Event)
This event is a 5K VIRTUAL run/walk that serves as a makeup event for either the 2023 or 2022 Laguna Hills Memorial Day Marathon, 5K, and 10K. Why? For those who may have missed the 2023 or 2022 events and would like to keep their standing in the Spirit of Valor Medal Series. Your completion of the Recon Retread (5K) will serve as your participation in either one of the 2023 or 2022 events (any distance).
