WHEN: Friday, October 30, 2026 - Be there by 8:30 AM; Run/Walk starts at 9:00 AM
WHY: FUN, FELLOWSHIP, and FUNDRAISING
Join us on Friday, October 30, 2026 for our LAMP High School's inaugural Maroon and Gold Fun Run!! Our goal is to raise at least $7,500 to help fund student and faculty programs and needed resources for the upcoming school year.
With Principal Dr. Harrison's blessing and support, our fun run/walk will take place on one of MPS's asynchronous days - October 30, 2026 - so we hope to have great student and teacher involvement! Individual and team participants will compete to raise money for one-mile laps walked or run (or skipped or jumped), with the winning individuals and teams winning prizes and bragging rights!
Costumes encouraged (it is the day before Halloween, after all), and fun is mandatory!! What a great way to build community and support an outstanding public high school in Montgomery!

Fun Run Participant - WITH T-SHIRT
LAMP's Maroon and Gold Fun Run will consist of one mile loops, with money being raised per loop or as a lump sum donation. Participants may complete as many one mile loops as they like within a one hour time frame with an award going to the top male and female with the most loops in one hour. All other awards will be based on amount of funds raised, costumes, team spirit, etc.
