Liberation and Freedom Day: 8 Mile Run

Funds raised will go to support organizations that serve the African American community directly: 101.3 JAMZ, African American Teaching Fellows, Jefferson School African American Heritage Center , the Albemarle- Charlottesville NAACP’s Youth Council, Tonsler Basketball League, Prolyfyck, and Vinegar Hill Magazine's Black Business advertising fund. Packet Pickup: Pick up your bib and swag bag on Friday, February 28th at The Jefferson School Heritage Center from 4-6 pm. Bibs will also be available Sat, March 1st before the start of the run/walk. We will be located outside of the JSAAHC Museum shop and Cafe (Entrance to the left of Pearl Island entrance).

Walkers will begin after runners and walk a 4 mile loop.
