About this race
We are passionate about helping you meet your race day goals, and raising funds to build play equipment for kids on London’s south side. Whether it’s a BQ, a PR, or your first attempt at a marathon or half marathon, our insanely flat, straight, sheltered course is ideal!
When you’re done you can go home wearing one of the most beautiful medals you’ve ever seen, and tell all your friends about running LONDON!
All funds raised from our race go directly to building play equipment, refurbishing sports fields, and improving MerriMac Park! Literally, every cent raised!
Format: The full and half marathon race events will start promptly at 7 am and the 5K at 7:15 am. The course will remain open for 5 hours after the last competitor starts.
Course: The start and finish will be located at Merri-Mac Park. All course maps can be viewed here. The flat, tree-lined scenic rails will take you toward Darby Creek Metro Park. The full marathon repeats the course twice. Did we mention this race is flat? It is crazy flat and ideal for achieving your goals! 84 % of runners in 2026 said that they met their race goals, 35 % PRed, and 28 % of marathoners BQed!!!
Aid stations and port-o-johns are spaced at every 2-2.5 miles along the course. Aid stations are stocked with water, Gatorade, and GU gels. We are adding port-o-johns to every aid station in 2027
Both the marathon and half-marathon courses are USATF certified! This course is perfect for that PR or BQ attempt! YES!

Perks: All half marathon runners will receive a high-quality soft vintage style race shirt with the London OH Marathon logo, a finisher medal, and special promotional offers from local businesses. All full marathon runners will receive a full-zip London OH Marathon lightweight hooded sweatshirt, a finisher medal, and swag from local businesses.
Packet Pick up and event expo:
Packet Pickup will be from 4-8 pm on Friday, April 16th, location TBD
There will be race day packet pick up. At Merri Mac Park starting at 6:15 AM. Be sure to arrive early if you need to pick up your packet on race day!
Parking: There is plenty of convenient parking within 100m of the start / finish line. On race morning, enter the park Via Jenkinson Dr Ave. (by the playground)
Elite athletes: This course is going to be crazy fast, and we’re looking for people who can light it up. Please contact Race Director David Mars at davidtmars@gmail.com for details. Elite entries will include a complimentary entry to the race and VIP accommodations on race day.
Elite Standards:
- Male - 16:00 (5k), 33:30 (10k), 1:15:00 (1/2 marathon), 2:40:00 (marathon)
- Female - 19:00 (5k), 38:30 (10k), 1:28:00 (1/2 marathon), 3:00:00 (marathon)
