Starts at the top of the Fort Peck Dam near the dam shaft houses on Highway 24 and proceeds across almost the entire distance of the dam. There is a 3.1 mile turnaround near the middle of the course, then an approximate 350 ft. gradual drop in elevation which is on a gravel/dirt road. This surface transitions back into asphault for the last near half mile to the finish line in front of Kiwanis Park.

Novice Bike Race

The NEW route for the 10 Mile Bike race starts at the top of the Dam at the same start as 10K & 5K and continues across the entire dame with a turn around at the invasive species info booth, traces back across the Dam and past the start line, continues downhill to the finish line at Kiwanis Park. Helmets are mandatory for all cyclists. Flip flops will not be permitted! You will be responsible for getting your bike to the Starting line.
