On June 6, 2026 we will be hosting our Annual LOVE like JJ 5k to benefit LOVE like JJ! This year’s event will again have both In Person and Virtual options, you can walk or run - however and wherever it works best for you! Our event was created to celebrate JJ's bright light, and fundraise so LOVE like JJ can continue spreading joy and supporting children in our community. 

Benefit:

Race proceeds will go to support the great work of LoveLikeJJ, a 501(c)(3) organization. Love like JJ believes the best investment we can make is in our children and to ensure they all have fulfilled basic needs and the opportunity to succeed. Their goal is to engage the local community and to provide practical support to bring lasting improvements to their lives.
Money raised through the LOVE like JJ 5k will go toward continuing to support these initiatives.

Details:

Everyone who registers by May 13, 2026 will receive a special LOVE like JJ 5k 2026 performance t-shirt.
The In Person 5k will have music, drinks and snacks, and an opportunity to support our sponsors. Kids who register will enjoy fun activities and will receive 1 FREE Italian Ice from Chill Out Truck. An estimated timeline for the In Person event is below:
 
7:30am: Check-in Opens
8:20am: Race Line Up and Announcements
8:30am: 5k Begins, staggered start time
         8:30am - Competitive Runners
         8:33am- Leisure Runners and Walkers
9:30: Winners Announced

Age Divisions:

Male and Female: 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

Awards:

Top Three Overall Male and Female Winners and top males and females  in each age division

Virtual Option:

If you cannot make it to our In Person event, you can still support the event by doing your own 5K on your course. You can submit your time to our Virtual results page. 

Registration fee:

Now through April 15, 2026: $30 for Adults. $20 for Kids 17 and under.
April 16 through Race Day: $35 for Adults. $25 for Kids 17 and under.
Everyone who registers by May 13, 2026 will receive a special LOVE like JJ 5k 2026 shirt. Please note, early registration date has been established to ensure t-shirts are received in a timely manner for printing and distribution prior to race day. Any registration after May 13 is not guaranteed a t-shirt.

Chip Timing: This year's 5K event will be timed using MyLaps Disposable bib tags. The chip will be on the bib number. No need to turn in pull tags or return the timing chip.

The 5K will include chip timing. 

You may sign up through race day online from your computer, tablet or smart phone.
