This racecourse includes scenic views of Silver Lake and is truly fun for the whole family. All registered participants will receive a t-shirt and medal*. Although the race is just for fun, runners will be timed, and placement recognition will be announced to the top runners in each age category. Costumes are encouraged!
All proceeds from the Monster Dash benefit the LSSC Foundation, which supports scholarships and education at Lake-Sumter State College.
* Race t-shirts and medals are only guaranteed to registrations placed on or before October 16, 2026.

Ghost 5K Racer
As a Ghost Racer, you are able to virtually support student scholarships and LSSC programs without having to physically run the Monster Dash course! Your registration includes a Monster Dash T-Shirt and Event Medal, which can either be mailed to you or picked up in the Foundation Office after the event.
Mummy Marathon
By running the Mummy Marathon, you are able to virtually support student scholarships and LSSC programs without having to physically run the Monster Dash course on race day! Run at your own pace and submit your virtual results to us! Your registration includes a Monster Dash T-Shirt and Event Medal, which can either be mailed to you or picked up in the Foundation Office after the event.
