Magnolia Festival 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run
About the Event
Hosted by the Durant Area Chamber of Commerce, the Magnolia Festival 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run are part of the Magnolia Festival!
Early packet pickup 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. on Friday, May 29th at Opera House Coffee.
Location: in Durant, Oklahoma, on W. Evergreen Street, between 2nd Street and 3rd Street (in front of Opera House Coffee)
6:30 a.m. - 7:50 a.m. - Packet Pickup/ Race Day Registration
8:00 a.m. - 1-Mile Fun Run starts
8:30 a.m. - 5K Run Starts
Awards immediately following completion of the 5k.
5k Awards: trophies for Overall Male and Overall Female
Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals for each of the following age categories: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & Up.
1-mile Fun Run Awards: Medals for all!
Virtual 5k Run: no awards will be presented.
T-shirts not guaranteed after May 15, 2026.
Join fellow runners on May 18, 2026 for the Magnolia Festival 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run. It's a fantastic 5K, 1.6K featuring a flat and fast course in Durant.

VIRTUAL 5k Run/walk
The virtual format allows you to run or walk any time and any place from May 19, 2025, through May 31, 2025. Run with your dog, a stroller, or on a treadmill...walk, or even go for a hike! Participants registered by May 9, 2025, will receive a Magnolia Festival Run T-shirt. Shirts may be picked up at early packet pickup on Friday, 5/30/25 or on race day, 5/31/25, between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. We will mail T-shirts to virtual race participants who live more than 30 miles away. Awards will not be presented for the virtual event. Tag us with #MagFestVirtual5k on social media!
5K Run
1 Mile Fun Run
1-Mile Fun Run $15 for ages 13 & up, free for age 12 and younger. 1-Mile Fun Run participants age 13 & up will receive a shirt with their paid registration (if registered by 5/15/25). 12 & under run free, but shirt is not included.
