Mankato Kids Tri

The Mankato Family YMCA and Greater Mankato Area United Way are proud to partner in support of youth mental wellness through healthy living. The Kid’s Tri highlights the important connection between physical activity and mental health, helping children build confidence, resilience, and healthy habits that support their overall well-being. 

Together we’re creating opportunities for kids to thrive - physically, mentally and emotionally - while strengthening the future of our community. Because when kids are healthy in mind and body, everyone wins.

Youth ages 3-12

Ages 9-12:
Swim 100 yards
Bike 1.0 miles
Run 1/2 mile

Ages 7-8:
Swim 50 yards
Bike 1.0 miles
Run: 1/4 mile

Ages 5-6: 
Swim 25 yards
Bike 1/2 mile
Run 0.2 mile

Ages 3-4:
Swim 20 yards
Bike 0.2 mile
Run 0.1 mile

Lifeguards will be present during the swimming portion and available to help if needed.
