About this race
One Hill. Four Hours. Your Challenge. Your Pace. A Whole Lot of Fun!
Join us on Saturday, November 21, from 10 AM–2 PM at Powderhouse Hill in South Berwick, Maine, for a fun-filled day of hill climbing, music, BBQ, a campfire, raffles, and community — all to support the Marshwood High School Ski Team!
How Does It Work?
It's simple! Walk up and down Powderhouse Hill as many — or as few — times as you'd like during our four-hour event.
No minimum. No maximum. No required pace.
Walk up once. Go up every hour or half hour. Challenge yourself to see how many climbs you can complete, or just come hang out and enjoy the day!
This isn't a race. It's a chance to get outside, have some fun, challenge yourself (if you want!), and support our student athletes.

Adults (18+): $40
Kids (Under 18): $30
Your registration includes the hill climb, BBQ lunch, a long-sleeve event T-shirt, and automatic entry into our raffles!

Every climb can make a difference!
Participants can create their own fundraising page and invite friends, family, and coworkers to support their Powderhouse Challenge.
Ask someone to sponsor your climbs, make a donation in your honor, or help you reach a personal fundraising goal.
Fundraising is completely optional, but every dollar helps support our Marshwood Ski Team athletes!
You can also donate directly to the team without participating in the hill climb.
Why We're Climbing:
The Powderhouse Challenge is a fundraiser supporting the Marshwood High School Ski Team. Funds raised help offset the costs of training, coaching, equipment, competition, and opportunities for our student athletes.
But it's about more than fundraising.
It's about bringing our community together, celebrating our local ski hill, getting outside, and having a great time!
Whether you're climbing the hill ten times, taking one leisurely walk, or spending the afternoon enjoying the music, BBQ, and campfire, we'd love to have you join us.
