2026 Mary Lin Elementary Rocket Run
Sunday, May 3, 2026 5K - 8:00 AM | 1 Mile Fun Run - 9:00 AMJoin the fun Sunday, May 3, 2026. Gather with your friends, neighbors, and family for a run or walk featuring beautiful Candler Park neighborhood streets and the Freedom Park Path. All proceeds from the event benefit the Mary Lin Elementary PTO.
START/FINISH LOCATION- The 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run start and finish at Mary Lin Elementary School (586 Candler Park Dr NE Atlanta, GA 30307).
Course time limit:
- 5K - 59 minutes (19 minute/mile pace)
- Fun Run - 30 minutes (30 minutes/mile)
5K Age Guidelines
- 5K participants under the age of 8 must be accompanied by parent or other responsible adult while on the course
PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE COURSE AT ANY TIME

Rocket Challenge (5K + 1 Mile)
Add to your race day fun! Participate in both the 5K and the Fun Run. All participants should be able to complete a 5K in less than 1 hour (19 minute/mile pace) Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult on the course
Rocket Run 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
Open to all ages! Participants should plan to complete the 1 mile course in 30 minutes or less. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult on the course
