About this race
5K race
Come run in the 5k Open event at 10 a.m. the day of the music festival. The Open 5k will follow the Varsity Boys and Girls Cross Country meet that will begin at 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., respectively.
The race will be 5K in distance hosted at Honey Bee Farms in Cottonwood, AL (20 minutes South of Dothan). The course will be a true cross country course traversing open fields, woods, farmland, and a lake crossing. Honey Bee Farms is surrounded by beautiful countryside and natural springs and will be host the the Mayhaw Bluegrass music festival.

We’ve got quite a lineup of bands this year. North Carolina's own Chatham Rabbits are returning to Mayhaw to headline the show. Michael Prewitt & Crunchgrass Supreme, Brenna MacMillan, First Far West (Josh Rinkel / Laura Orshaw), Dcovan Matthews, and Pontiac Stove Company! Music starts at 1 pm and goes until 7 pm.
