Save the Date: October 24, 2026 Join the Mid-Columbia Children's Museum for Monster Mash 5K & Creature Crawl 1K, a family-friendly Halloween event that brings together costumes, movement, and hands-on fun in support of the future Mid-Columbia Children's Museum. Whether you're running the 5K, walking with friends, or cheering on your little monster in the Creature Crawl, there's something for everyone. Event Details

Monster Mash 5k (13+ years old)
This is an out and back course, to be completed one time. There will be a staffed drink station at the halfway/turn around mark. Prizes for the top 3 male and female racers in each category. 🏆 Registration includes FREE cider/coffee and donuts. ☕️ 🍩
Monster Mash 5k (Child 5-12 years old)
This is an out and back course, to be completed one time. There will be a staffed drink station at the halfway/turn around mark. Prizes for the top 3 male and female racers in each category. 🏆 Registration includes FREE cider/coffee, donuts, and face painting . ☕️ 🍩 🎨
Creature Crawl 1k (0-12 years old)
This is a closed loop course. Participants will be able to trick or treat throughout the course. 👻 Volunteers will be stationed throughout. Registration includes FREE cider/coffee, donuts, face painting, a swag bag with goodies and an event shirt (if registered by 10/2)! ☕️ 🍩 🎨
Creature Crawl 1k (Adult Chaperone)
This option is for accompanying adult(s) of minors participating in the 1K race. We need all persons attending the race to register and fill out the waiver.
