Kick off your Fourth of July with a fun, festive run for a great cause!

Join us for the McLean Firecracker 5K & Kids Run, a neighborhood celebration supporting Team for Kids, which helps provide free youth races and fitness programs to kids across the country.

This event is all about community, movement, and giving back, whether you run, jog, walk, or cheer from the sidelines.

1-Mile Kids Fun Run – perfect for younger runners
5K Fun Run – for older kids and adults
No timing chips. No pressure.

 
Schedule
7:15 AM – Check-in opens
7:30 AM – 1-Mile Kids Fun Run starts
7:50 AM – 5K starts
 
Entry Fee
Donation only!
Every dollar raised goes directly to Team for Kids.

 
Dress Code
Rock your best red, white, and blue!
Festive outfits, stars, stripes, tutus, bonus points for creativity.

 
Volunteers Needed
We’re looking for a few helpers to keep the course safe and cheer runners on.

Course Info
The course will start and finish at the neighborhood clubhouse and be 1 loop for the 1 mile route and 3 loops for the 5K. Refer to the course tab for the exact route information.
