About the Event
HOW FAST CAN YOU RUN A MILE?!
MYAA Track & Field is proud to host the 2026 Medford Mile Run at Shawnee High School on Saturday, May 9, 2025 at 3 PM!
REGISTRATION CLOSES ON THURSDAY, MAY 7th at 11:59 PM. MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED TO RUN!
The mile will start with our youngest participants and end with the adults with rolling start times. Runners will be grouped with similar age/ability groups. Join us for fun, food, field events, and of course, a professionally timed MILE RUN!
All ages welcome and encouraged to participate! Youth runners ages 5-17 run for free! Awards given to top 3 finishers in each age/gender group!
Ages 5-7 will run 400M (one lap) Fun Run! Must be 8 and up to run full Mile! Also, participant must be capable of running a FULL MILE PRIOR TO THIS EVENT! Out of respect for time, please only register an 8+ youth runner if they can confidently run a mile!
Shot put, discus, turbo jav (in this order) and long jump will also be contested, starting at 3:30 p.m. Shot put and turbo jav are open to athletes born in 2008 through 2019 (turning 6 through 18 this year). Discus is open to athletes born in 2008 through 2015 (turning 11-18 this year). Implements will be provided, but participants are allowed to bring their own.
Long jump is open to athletes born in 2008 and later (turning 18 this year and younger).
All proceeds go to the MYAA Track & Field Club. We thank you for your support and can't wait to see you on the track!

Join fellow runners on May 9, 2026 for the Medford Mile Run. It's a fantastic 1.6K, Ultra featuring a flat and fast course in Medford.

Running
ADULT Mile Run (18 and older)
Participants will run one mile on the track against runners of a similar age and/or ability in rolling heats starting with the youngest age group.
YOUTH Mile Run (ages 8-17)
Participants will run one mile on the track against runners of a similar age and/or ability in rolling heats starting with the youngest age group.
LITTLES 400M Fun Run (Ages 5-7)
This is a 400M (1 lap) Fun Run for our littlest runners age 5-7!
