BENEFITING THE FRIENDS OF OLETA RIVER STATE PARK🧜♀️ Calling All Mermaids and Mermen! 🧜♂️ Dive in and discover Florida’s largest urban park, Oleta River State Park, where nature and adventure meet — just 30 minutes from downtown Miami! At over a thousand acres, this natural oasis is the perfect backdrop for our Mermaid Open Water Swim - Oleta. Known for its stunning waterways and serene beauty, Oleta is a haven for outdoor lovers, from mountain bikers and paddlers to anglers and swimmers.
Join us for an unforgettable swimming experience in this hidden gem of Miami! Whether you're a competitive swimmer or just want to splash around, there's a distance for everyone.

Races Offered
Swimming
Two Mile Swim
There will be awards given out to the top 3 males and females in each age group, as well as the top overall male/female. Participants will receive food and drinks following the event. PACKET PICKUP: - Race Day Packet pick-up begins promptly at 6:45 AM at Game On Race Events trailer. - Swim Caps only guaranteed to the first 400 participants PARKING: - There is a $6 fee for parking - Check-in at the Game On Race Trailer - Head to the beach for the swim start SWIM COURSE (OUT AND BACK): - Start at swim start flags - Swim 50 yards east to first buoy - Stay on right and head south - Pass middle buoy, continue to stay on right - Turn around at 3rd buoy, stay on right, continue back north - Pass middle buoy again, stay on right - Pass the first buoy again, stay on right - Make U-Turn around the first buoy - Repeat above - Come out of water, jog, to finish line!
Mile Swim

Any Distance Virtual Swim
You may choose your distance in the virtual swim! Each participant in the virtual option will receive a special edition Mermaid Glass + swim cap. Registration/Packet Pickup Information: - Registration: $55 - Packet will be mailed to you!
