5K Fun Walk and Run against Obesity
Reducing obesity and tackling mental health among children and teenagers is part of our organization’s three areas of focus. According to the former surgeon general of the United States Richard Carmona, obesity is the second leading cause of death in America. This is our first year campaign towards this cause. Reaching the $15,000 goal will allow our nonprofit to take soccer to more underserved communities so more children and teenagers can have a right to play.
