Miles for Maura
About this race
On July 31, 1994, on her way home from a weekend trip with friends, Maura was killed by a drunk driver who was speeding recklessly down the highway. Because of this destructive decision, life for Team Howard and Maura's extended loving family and friends has never been the same. Honoring Maura's memory is our top priority. Spreading awareness about the dangers of drinking and driving through scholarships for graduates of KP, Maura's alma mater, is a critical piece of the mission.
