A Pneuma Impact Project in partnership with Support the Cuban People Org
Go the distance for a neighbor you'll never meet.
A 30-day virtual endurance challenge uniting athletes around one goal: keeping a community fed in Cuba, where food, medicine, and power have all but run out.
11/01/2026 – 12/01/26 · 30 days

Track every mile on Strava
We connect a global community of athletes around one goal: bringing sustained aid to those the world has forgotten. Because every neighbor deserves to be seen and served — and loving your neighbor isn't optional. Meals for Miles turns the miles you'd train anyway into action where it matters most.
Why Cuba, why now
Cuba is living through one of its worst crises in decades. The economy has collapsed, and ordinary families are carrying an almost unbearable weight. 20 hrs — Some areas lose power for up to 20 hours a day, crippling hospitals, businesses, and homes.
Shortages — Severe nationwide shortages of the essentials: food, medicine, and fuel.
Daily — Basic groceries are increasingly out of reach for everyday families.
Our partner on the ground: Pan de Vida
Every weekend, Pan de Vida opens its doors to anyone in the community who needs a meal — no requirements, no barriers, just food for whoever shows up. In a country where basic groceries are slipping out of reach, a warm weekend meal can make all the difference.
Pick your challenge
No race day. No pressure. Just you, your training, and a purpose bigger than the distance — spread across 30 days at your own pace.
Virtual 70.3 Triathlon — Half Ironman distance, entirely on your own schedule. Over 30 days, log a series of swims, bike rides, and runs that add up to 70.3 miles.
Swim 1.2 mi · Bike 56 mi · Run 13.1 mi
Virtual Marathon — Not a triathlete yet, or not ready for one? Split a full 26.2-mile marathon across as many runs as you need, at your own pace.
Run 26.2 mi, your way · 30 days to finish
What you'll earn:
70.3 Triathlon finishers- receive a three-piece connecting medal, swim, bike, and run panels that lock together into one complete piece, each set against the streets and shoreline of Havana. Plus an official race shirt.
Marathon finishers- receive a single medal featuring a runner tracing the Havana coastline at sunset. Plus an official race shirt.
How it works
Join us on Strava — Join the Meals for Miles club on Strava and log every swim, ride, and run there over the 30 days.
Go the distance — Chip away at your 70.3 or your 26.2 on your own schedule. Watch your miles add up alongside athletes around the world.
Our goal: $10,000 — Every dollar goes directly to keeping a community feeding program running in Cuba for an entire year.
Every neighbor deserves to be seen and served.
Lace up, dive in, clip in. Turn the next 30 days of training into a year of meals for a community that's been forgotten.
