Miles for Motion + 5k Color Run

Come join the University of Louisiana Monroe Physical Therapy Student Association (PTSA) as we host our Miles for Motion 5K Color Run! The race will take place at Forsythe Park at 2300 Sycamore St, Monroe, LA 71201 on August 22, 2026. Registration and check-in will open at 7:00 a.m., and the 5K Color Run will begin at 8:00 a.m. Vendor and booth setup will begin at 6:30 a.m.

This event is open to all ages, and everyone is welcome! A kids area with games and face painting will be available as well. Bring your friends, family and lots of energy for a colorful and exciting morning! In addition to the run, we will have vendors and local businesses set up at the event, offering great opportunities to shop, network, and support the community. All proceeds from Miles for Motion will support student-led community engagement and outreach initiatives throughout the year. Instead of raising funds for a single cause, PTSA uses contributions to support a variety of local and national organizations, with a special focus on serving rural and underserved communities. Your participation directly supports future physical therapists as they promote leadership, professional growth, and service across Monroe and beyond.

Participants who register by July 20, 2026, will receive a free event T-shirt included with their registration. T-shirts will be available for pickup on the day of the race during check-in. If you register after the July 20th deadline, T-shirts will still be available for purchase separately for $20.
