Minds in Motion
About this race
Minds in Motion is a six week/twelve lesson run training program for kids K-8. This program is designed to prepare kids both physically and mentally for a 5K fun run with hopes that they will carry these skills forward and continue to challenge themselves physically and mentally in the future.
Minds in Motion focuses on 3 Pillars: Community, Fitness & Perseverance.
Kids who complete our program should be able to not only define these words but should have improved their connection to all three. The carefully designed curriculum incorporates activities that will build the kids’ fitness levels, encourage them to persevere in a community environment while helping their community raise money.
DATES: week of 10/7-week of 11/11 (6 weeks/twice a week)
FUN RUN: Tuesday 11/17, location TBD

Westside Elementary
Practices are on Mondays & Tuesdays 2:5-3:45 pm. The program is available to kids in 3rd - 5th grade. Lead coach is Cindy Kimbrew cckimbr@sunprairieschools.org
Nuestro Mundo Elementary
Practices are held on Tuesday & Thursday from 2:45 - 3:45 PM. Program is open to grades 3rd-5th.
Sauk Trail Elementary
Practices are held on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 2:45-3:45PM. Program is open to grades 3rd and 4th.
West Middleton Elementary
Practices are held on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 2:45-4:00PM. Program is open to grades 1st -4th.
Fall River Elementary
Practices are Wednesday & Friday 3:30-4:30 pm Program is open to grades 2nd-5th Lead Coach is Jamie Amundson jamundson@fallriver.k12.wi.us
Sandburg Elementary
Practices are held on Wednesday & Friday 3:20-4:20 PM.
