About this race

There are TWO EVENTS associated with the 2026 Monster Mash Event, and they BOTH take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Pine Log State Forest in Ebro, Florida.

The 3-Hour Mountain Bike Race starts at 9:30 AM and is held at the Pine Log State Forest Pavillion. Racers will race the "Blue Trail" in a counterclockwise direction.  Racers will do as many laps as they can in 3 Hours. There are Two Categories for the Mountain Bike Race: One Registration for Individuals and another Registration for Teams. Awards go Five (5) Deep for Solo Males and Solo Females. No Age Groups. The Team Awards go Three (3) Deep for Male Teams, Female Teams and Co-Ed Teams. No Age Groups. Mandatory Pre-Race Meeting at 9:15 AM. Registration for the Mountain Bike Race is limited to 75 Racers.

The Gravel Grinder starts at 9:45 AM. Riders will ride the 46 Mile Route on Dirt, Sand, Gravel and Paved Roads. There is one Rest/Sag Station for the Gravel Rider at Mile 20 and riders will pass by it again at Mile 30.  All Riders will receive unique Finisher Medals.  There are no signs marking the course. Riders will navigate the course on their own with the aid of their Phone, Garmin, Wahoo, Avocet or other similar GPS devices. The route is posted on the Facebook Page for Monster Mash.

Packet Pick up and Day of Race Registration begins at 7:30 AM at the Pine Log State Forest Pavillion. Day of Race Registration Fee increases $10 for each Category: Mountain Bike Race ($70), Gravel Ride ($70) and Road Ride ($70) NO T-Shirt for Day of Race Registrants but lunch will be provided.

2026 Monster Mash 3-Hour Mountain Bike Race

Racers will ride as many laps around the Blue Trail as they can in 3 Hours. If a Racers goes over the 3-Hour limit on the last lap, that lap will not count as a "finished lap". Category One - Solo Males, Solo Females. Category Two - Two Person Male Team, Two Person Female Team, Two Person Co-Ed or Mixed Team (One Male and One Female)

Gravel biking

2026 Gravel Grinder (46 Mile Route)

The Gravel Grinder starts and finishes at the Pine Log State Park. Riders will use dirt, sand, gravel and paved roads in Washington, Walton and Bay County. There is one Rest Stop/Aid Station along the route at Mile 20 and Mile 30. Riders need to use their Phone, Garmin, Wahoo or Avocet GPS devices to navigate the ride, since the route will not have turn by turn signs and road markings. The GPS file will be provided on the Monster Mash Facebook Page. 2026 ROUTE TO BE ANNOUNCED.
