The second installment of the Moonlight Race Series Racer check in will be between 5pm and 5:45pm in the main Sunlight Lodge The course will be clearly marked with reflective markings Additional course and race information will be updated closer to race day Don't forget your headlamp!
January Skinning 101 Clinic
Not feeling ready to race? Head uphill before the race with an instructor from Cripple Creek Backcountry for on snow instruction in using pin-bindings, skinning technique, how to transition and other ski touring basics. This short, group instructional skin will meet at the registration tent at 4:50pm and will start skinning at 5:00pm. We'll do a short lap up start of the race course before transitioning and getting back to the base in time for the start. You can hop in the rec division, or just head back uphill and watch the action! All ages & abilities are welcome! Gear: Bring your own (skis, boots, bindings, skins & poles required) or call CCBC at least 1 day before the event to reserve a demo. Any uphill alpine touring gear will work (no cross country gear please).
