MIOCA is proud to present our annual Mother’s Day Time to Teal Run/Walk on Sunday, May 10, 2026!
Gather your family and friends for this special Mother’s Day tradition that brings people together to celebrate the incredible women in our lives, while raising crucial ovarian cancer awareness in our community
Both the 5K and one-mile Fun Run/Walk invites participants of all ages and abilities!
The fun includes:
- Chip-timed 5K bibs
- Awesome swag you’ll love
- Courses that welcome runners, walkers, and strollers
- Awards for top finishers and fundraising prizes
- A joyful, supportive atmosphere honoring the amazing women in our lives
The Time to Teal Run/Walk was inspired by MIOCA co-founder Pam Dahlmann, who sought a meaningful way to honor her mother's memory, Geri Fournier, on Mother’s Day. We are honored to continue this tradition in her name.
Each year, this event brings together mothers, daughters, families, and friends to reflect, remember, and celebrate together while recognizing the impact ovarian cancer has had on so many lives.
Location: Rolling Hills Park in Ypsilanti, TWP
Registration beings at 8am and 5k starts at 9:00am with fun walk/run immediately following
Please note: due to anticipated construction, there is a location change for the 2026 Time to Teal Run/Walk. The event will be held at Rolling Hills County Park in Ypsilanti, MI.
All proceeds from this race benefit the Michigan Ovarian Cancer Alliance.

Our annual Time to Teal event is on the streets of beautiful Ann Arbor, MI. Join us in-person for a 5k walk/run race. The cost of registration includes entry into our timed 5k plus finisher medal, bib, downloadable photos and items from our sponsors. The race will begin promptly at 8am. On May 11th, we will run to recognize both the incredible women in our lives for Mother's Day and spread ovarian cancer awareness. We cannot wait to see you there! We encourage you to create or join a fundraising team upon registration and invite your friends and family to sign up too. Registration also includes the option to purchase a Time to Teal t-shirt.
1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
Join us in-person for a 1 mile fun run/walk to support the cause. This run/walk will begin at 8:10am. The cost of registration includes entry into the race , fun run bib, downloadable photos and a sweet treat from our wonderful partner Washtenaw Dairy. We encourage you to create or join a fundraising team upon registration and invite your friends and family to sign up too. Registration also includes the option to purchase a Time to Teal t-shirt.
Kids 5k (one kid 10 years and under free per paid adult 5k registration) One Adult One Child ONLY for 5k
Our annual Time to Teal event is on the streets of beautiful Ann Arbor, MI. This registration is only for kids 10 and under and is for ONE CHILD RACING FREE WITH ONE ADULT PAID 5K REGISTRATION. The race will begin promptly at 8:00am. NOTE THIS IS ONLY FOR THE 5K! On May 11th, we will run to recognize both the incredible women in our lives for Mother's Day and spread ovarian cancer awareness. We cannot wait to see you there!
