The MOVE MGM Gobble Wobble is back—and this year, we’re excited to bring Montgomery’s favorite Thanksgiving‑week tradition to Cloverdale! Join us on Friday, November 27 for a lively, family‑friendly 5K that encourages our community to stay active, connect with neighbors, and kick off the holiday season with gratitude, movement, and fun.

Whether you’re a runner, walker, stroller‑pusher, or enthusiastic wobbler, this event welcomes all fitness levels. Registration is completely FREE, and participants are encouraged to donate to the Heart of Alabama Food Bank to support families across the River Region.

MOVE MGM is Montgomery’s signature health and wellness initiative, launched by First Lady Tamika Reed to inspire Montgomerians to prioritize fitness, wellness, and community connection throughout the year. 🏃‍♀️ Scenic 5K Course Through Cloverdale
Enjoy a scenic run through beautiful Cloverdale neighborhoods. The course is safe, accessible, and designed to support both seasoned runners and casual walkers. Expect cheerful volunteers, festive fall scenery, and plenty of encouragement along the route.

🎉 Health & Wellness Vendor Village
Before and after your run, explore our expanded vendor row featuring local health, fitness, nutrition, and wellness partners. Past Gobble Wobble events have welcomed vendors such as Fleet Feet, Sage Health, Vitamin Shoppe, Smoothie King, Zink Chiropractic, Belle’s Nutrition Lounge, Frisco City Nutrition, and more.

This year’s vendor lineup will showcase:

🎁 Supporting the Heart of Alabama Food Bank
MOVE MGM events consistently raise donations for the Heart of Alabama Food Bank. With large participant turnout in past years (over 1,700 runners in 2025), this event has made a meaningful impact. Your donation—no matter the size—helps feed families across our community during the holiday season.

Packet Pick‑Up
Tuesday, November 24th
Time: 1 PM – 4 PM
Location: Cloverdale (final site details will be posted soon)

Avoid long lines on race morning—swing by early to pick up your bib, shirt, and participant information.

Race‑day packet pickup will also be available beginning at 7:00 AM.

7:00 AM – Packet pickup opens
7:30 AM – Pre‑race warm‑up with our MOVE MGM fitness partners
8:00 AM – Gobble Wobble 5K begins
9:00–10:00 AM – Vendor Village activities, cool‑down zone & photo ops
