About this race

The NWANA Movement Series is a free weekly virtual challenge platform for Nordic Walking, walking, and running participants across North America.

Each week, participants can register for a challenge, complete their activity from anywhere, submit a result, and appear in the weekly results. The series helps NWANA build participation, city teams, club teams, corporate wellness teams, and a stronger foundation for organized Nordic Walking in North America.

This is not a one-time charity walk. It is a growing sports and community platform for people, clubs, teams, and organizations that want to help make Nordic Walking more visible, active, and organized.

Participants can submit results manually during the weekly challenge period. Total distance may be used for weekly results and participation tracking.

Building the Future NWANA Event Pathway

The NWANA Movement Series begins as a free virtual challenge platform. It is also an early step toward a broader NWANA event pathway that can grow from weekly virtual challenges into local community run/walk events, Nordic Walking categories, regional series, and future championship-style events.

Our goal is to make Nordic Walking visible inside accessible community movement events while building the teams, results, instructors, and organizer relationships needed for long-term sport growth.

NWANA also launched the Instructor Growth Fund to help train more Nordic Walking instructors. Every $300 raised can create one NWANA Academy Beginner Instructor Course Credit.
