Mt. Pleasant Memorial Day 5K
About this race
Come join the Mt. Pleasant Memorial Day 5K Run/Walk on Monday, May 25, 2026 at 8 AM, as we honor and commemorate all of the men and women who have served our great nation! We will be hosting a 5K run/walk loop option through Mt. Pleasant's Island Park and the Mill Pond Park trail system, as well as a one mile walk option around Island Park's trail. Both options are free but we encourage donations which will be designated for Mt. Pleasant's Legion and VFW posts. There will be doughnuts and refreshments provided for participants afterwards. Make sure to stick around for the Memorial Day parade which begins at 10 AM in downtown Mt. Pleasant and will conclude with a ceremony at Island Park!
