Mulberry Stampede 5K
About this race
Please come out and join us for the 4th Annual Mulberry Stampede 5K at Mulberry Elementary School in North Wilkesboro, NC on May 2, 2026. This fourth running will feature race|result chip timing and live results through the course of the race. The race starts at 9:00am. You'll be glad you did.
Please note that race day registration and pickup is planned for 7:30am to 8:30am on race day. Please plan accordingly to arrive on time to ensure an on-time start for all of the other participants!
The Mulberry Fire Department and the NC Highway Patrol will be closing down the right lane of HWY 18 all the way to Mulberry Fire Department with cones, trucks, and patrol cars for runners. Finish Line Pros will be keeping time for runners. Pelicans will be handing out free snowballs to the kids, and adults can purchase a coffee or drink from our good friends at Fireside Espresso. This will be a great time to spend time with family and friends.
Students aged 12 and under will receive a $10 discount from the standard entry fee at the time of registration!
Please note that shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed for registrations after April 2nd. When we place our shirt order on April 2nd we will do our best to estimate our needs after that date. If you are registering for the race after April 3rd, please understand if we do not have your first choice available for you when you pick up on race day!

EVENT PROCEEDS: 50 percent of the proceeds will fund The Mulberry Sports Grant in memory of Isaiah Pena. The other 50 percent will also go back into the race for future events and Kids on the Run. Wilkesboro NC DATE: 9:00 a.m. Saturday, May 3rd 2025 AWARDS: Medals for Top 3 M/F Overall winners and the Top M/F in each of these age groups: 8 under, 9-11, 12-15, 16-20, 21-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, masters (51-59), Grand Masters (60+) START: Start & Finish at the school PARKING: Fenced in lot beside the school
