The North Carolina Assistive Technology Program (NCATP), funded by state and federal sources, hosts an annual Assistive Technology Expo in Raleigh at the McKimmon Conference and Training Center. It’s a public, hybrid, no-cost event designed for people with disabilities, their families, therapists, educators, rehab counselors, employers, and anyone interested in assistive technology.

The NCATP 2026 AT Expo features an Exhibition Hall with close to 50 exhibitors showcasing AT devices—ranging from speech-generating devices to vision-enhancing technology to accessible software, a Maker's Room-to display DIY AT and education presentations (sessions can be used for Continuing Ed. credits).

Once again, NCATP 2026 AT Expo is a hybrid event - combining the tangible energy of an in-person event with the convenience and broad reach of virtual access - truly embodying the NCATP mission: "TO PROMOTE INDEPENDENCE AND INCLUSION FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES THROUGH ACCESS TO TECHNOLOGY".

Remember to mark all your accommodation needs when you register, as ASL interpretation, Spanish interpretation, audio descriptions, and CART services are free to all in-person and virtual attendees.

NCATP is excited to meet you for the first time or welcome you back to this years AT Expo!

See you in September!
