2026 NCHC Save Your Pumpkins 5K Run/Walk
About the Event
Do you know someone with breast cancer, or someone who has had breast cancer? You're probably nodding your head 'yes' because breast cancer is the most common reportable cancer among women in Ohio, regardless of race. In our Buckeye State, it accounts for 28 percent of all cancers diagnosed in women.
This fall, let's join the fight to "Save the Pumpkins" with a 5K run/walk through our beautiful, lakefront Sandusky, Ohio.
All proceeds will benefit The Foundations for the following North Coast Healthcare Collaborative Hospital Systems: Firelands Health, Fisher-Titus, and Magruder Hospital.
The North Coast Healthcare Collaborative will use the funds to invest in patient support, breakthrough equipment, and research to prevent, diagnose and cure breast cancer. Donations from friends and family who do not wish to race but would like to support the cause are encouraged.

Pre-registration cost: $25.00
Day-of registration cost: $27.00
Race T-Shirts available if you register by September 20, 2026.
Packet Pick-up:
Friday, October 2, from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm, located at Firelands Regional Medical Center Professional Center II, 703 Tyler St., Sandusky, OH., 44870. You may park in Lots F or E on Tyler St.

Join fellow runners on October 3, 2026 for the 2026 NCHC Save Your Pumpkins 5K Run/Walk. It's a fantastic 5K featuring a flat and fast course in Sandusky.

2026 NCHC Save Your Pumpkins 5K Run/Walk
5K Run/Walk packets can be picked up on Friday, October 2 from 3:30pm-5:30pm at Firelands Regional Medical Center Professional Center II, 703 Tyler St., Sandusky, OH., 44870 You must register by September 20, 2026 to secure a Race T-Shirt. Packets can also be picked up at the Sandusky Bay Pavilion on the morning of the race. Registrations will also be accepted the morning of the race ($27.00).
