NOTE: Pre-registration for the kids race is now closed. Children may sign up on race morning, though shirts and medals are not guaranteed.

Explore San Carlos' outstanding trail system as a runner in the fourth annual No Foolin' Foot Race! There's something for everyone with four challenging events through Big Canyon, Eaton and Pulgas Ridge.

Consider yourself warned: This race is no joke! Our courses are technical, grueling and loads of fun.
We will be hosting course previews on Sunday, March 8 (5K and 10K routes) and Saturday, March 28 (5K and 15K routes) in partnership with A Runner's Mind and Brooks. RSVP on Strava, and join our Strava Club for updates.
Start and Finish Festival at Crestview Park. Professional timing; Tech-Ts and free runner photos for all participants; Awards in multiple categories.
All proceeds benefit maintenance and improvement of San Carlos open space trails.
Presented by Kaiser Permanente in partnership with the Parks and Recreation Foundation of San Carlos and the City of San Carlos.

- 15k - 8:30a Runners have 2.5 hours to complete the course.
- 10k - 9a Runners have 2.5 hours to complete the course.
- 5k - 9:30a Runners have 1 hour to complete the course.
- Kids K - 9:35a Children have 30min to complete the course.

Parking
- Street parking is available along Brittan Ave. and Crestview Drive. ABSOLUTELY NO participant parking available at Crestview Park. Carpooling is strongly encouraged.

Long Course (15K)
We are thrilled to be introducing a 15K that incorporates our neighbor to the west, Pulgas Ridge Open Space Preserve. Course closes at 11A. Tentative Route: https://www.strava.com/routes/3405624997603420382
10k
The 10K route includes some pavement (approximately ¾ mile) on Brittan Ave, including the infamous Brittan Gut Buster at the very end of the race. Runners have 2 hours to complete the course. Route: https://www.strava.com/routes/3103907667806658968
5K
The 5K route is exclusively trail through Big Canyon Park with about 800 ft of climbing. Racers have 60min to complete the course. Route: https://www.strava.com/routes/3104554336612265216
1K Kids Course
NOTE: We cannot guarantee finisher medals and shirts for race day registrants. The kids course is exclusively trail – roughly 1K with 350ft of climbing. Children will step off at ~9:35A and have 30min to complete the course. This will be a big challenge for many youngsters! It is appropriate for children with some running experience. Children may run accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parent or guardian must be present in Crestview Park or on course at all times during the event. No child care will be provided.
