Online 5K Prices (ends Sunday, May 29th): 18 and older: $25; Children (under 18 years old): $15 Race day registration prices: 5K--$30 (Adults); $20 (under 18 years old) Kids Race Race day registration: $10 The North Jersey Pride Run is a 5K race/run in South Orange, NJ. The race course begins and ends in Grove Park (at Grove Road and South Orange Ave), South Orange, NJ. Runners and Walkers of all ages, speeds, and styles are welcome to participate in the 5K. Come with your kids, your strollers, and your furry friends for a good time in the back of the back. Looking for a PR on this flat, fast USATF certified 5K course? Step up to the front of the pack and lead the way! Race Start Time: 9:00am Kids Race Start Time: 10:00am in Grove Park All children ages 3-9 years old are eligible for the Kids Race. Depending on the number of participants, the Kids' Race may be divided into heats based on age (distance may be adjusted based on age group as well).
North Jersey Pride Run + Coaching and Training Plan
Available to participants 18 years and older. Join Coach Katy of Triumph Coaching for Group Training, Coaching, and a 10-week training plan. This training group is recommended for beginners or runners who are just getting back into it. Included in this option is registration to the North Jersey Pride Run, a 10-week training plan, a private facebook group for this training group, weekly coached group training sessions on Sundays (time TBD), and the regular communication and expertise of Coach Katy. Katy is a USA Triathlon Certified Coach and has been coaching various sports including soccer, swimming and running since she was a teenager. She is also a lifelong and decorated athlete - she played Division 1 Soccer for Lehigh and has qualified for the Boston Marathon, the NYC Marathon, and most recently the Ironman World Championships at Kona after her recent age group win at Ironman Florida. She enjoys bringing her commitment to sport to athletes of all backgrounds and levels. She understands life is busy and wants to help clients find the balance between life and running. By learning to love the journey as much as race day itself, training becomes something to look forward to, rather than a chore. Katy is thrilled to be working with the North Jersey Pride Run to help increase diversity and inclusion of all people in the running community.
