2023 - Northland 5K for Food Allergy

5K Run/Walk

Round up your family and friends and join ALEIA Project for the Northland 5K for Food Allergy! Race will begin at 8 AM at Leif Erikson Park in Duluth, MN. This is a chip-timed run/walk event. It is an out-and-back course and follows the Lakewalk toward Canal Park with the turn-around point just before the lighthouse. See course map below for further information. There will be awards for the top runners and prize drawings for everyone registered! T-shirts will be guaranteed to 5K participants who register by May 1st, 2023.  Online registration will be open starting 2/10/23 at 12 PM and will close on 5/25/23 at 11:59 AM. In-person registration will also be available on race morning at Leif Erikson Park; however, t-shirts will not be guaranteed to those who register at this time. Allergy-conscious food/beverages will be enjoyed after the event. Additionally, there will be lawn games, kids activities, allergy-aware business/product info and samples to take home, as well as representation from the Duluth Fire Fighters and EMT staff. There is potential for congestion to occur on the trail at times. Please keep this in mind as you prepare for race morning. We ask that you please share the trail by being courteous and respectful to those using the trail for non-5K associated activities. Parking: Parking for the event is available at the Rose Garden, Lakewalk Surgery Center, and the St. Luke's Hospital Lakeview Parking Ramp, accessed off of Superior Street between 10th and 11th Aves East. There is also street parking near Leif Erikson Park. Please DO NOT park in the Super One Foods parking lot, as they need to reserve parking for customers.  Packet Pickup: Packet Pickup will be on Friday, May 26th at Austin-Jarrow from 4- 7pm.
