Come enjoy beautiful ocean views as you run along the scenic coastline of Great Neck! On the course you'll race past some of the oldest and most historical homes (pre-revolution) in the entire country. You'll enjoy breathtaking views in this charming coastal community!

5K
The 5K race is mostly flat and follows the first few miles of the half marathon course. Race along Linebrook Road before turning onto Mile Lane. Your final right turn is at the famous Clam Box of Ipswich restaurant as you begin your final run towards the finish line at the high school. Bib # and race swag pick-up is on race day only from 8:00am. No early birds, please. School is closed - no entry. Portable restrooms are available at the start/finish. There will be one aid station on the 5K course. Award medals are given to the top three M/F in each age group. Overall, 19 & Under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 70+. Be sure to visit the tent to pick up your award before you leave (There will not be an awards ceremony). Awards will not be mailed and are only available at the race. Per USATF rules, gun times are used for scoring. Be sure to visit the tent to pick up your purchased merchandise before you leave. Merchandise will not be mailed and is only available at the race. Finisher medals to all finishers. The roads are open to traffic. The local Police Department will help monitor traffic. PLEASE stay to the side of the road. Bag check is not available. Please plan accordingly. Please read the FAQ for all race details.
Half Marathon
The half marathon course begins with several flat miles. After passing by the famous Clam Box of Ipswich restaurant, you'll travel past many first-period homes that are among the oldest and most historic houses in the country. The race continues on route to scenic Great Neck with views of beach, marsh and ocean. After the loop around the neck, the course returns towards town with the finish at the high school. Bib # and race swag pick-up is on race day only from 8:00am – 8:45am. No early birds, please. School is closed - no entry. Portable restrooms are available at the start/finish. A portable restroom will be available along the course near mile 2, 5 & 11. There will be six aid stations with water near miles 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12. Runners are encouraged to carry additional water with their favorite hydration bottle, belt, vest or pack. ZYM Hydration is our on-course drink and hydration sponsor.
