Olympic Tavern 5K Spirits Run for Als
About this race
Where the river moves, the stories rest, and the community rises.
The Olympic Tavern Spirits Run for ALS invites you to a 5K that blends Rockford’s history with a cause that matters. Starting at the iconic Olympic Tavern, the course follows the Rock River before passing Greenwood Cemetery — a quiet reminder of legacy, resilience, and why we run.
Finish back at the tavern for post-race hospitality and community connection. Every mile supports ALS awareness and the mission of the Spirits Run Initiative.
