Omaha Costco Marathon

The 3rd annual Omaha Costco Marathon! 3 Costco's, 26.2-miles, Vibes in bulk!
 
Join on Saturday, December 12th for the most unique 26.2 miles Omaha has to offer. The Costco Marathon connects the city’s three beloved Costco locations in one unforgettable route. Starting at the Costco off 120/Dodge, runners wind their way through town using city streets and public trails to link together the La Vista, Maple, and Dodge warehouses like a giant membership card swipe across the map. Whether you’re chasing a personal best, running for the vibes, or just in it for the post-race Kirkland hot dog, the Costco Marathon delivers. Join for a race where endurance meets everyday value.

Registration is free, but donations are highly encouraged, as the funds will be used to purchase water, Gatorade, hand warmers, and Costco snacks for our aid stations. Any surplus in donated funds will be given to the Food Bank of Omaha

You are free to run at whatever pace you would like; there will likely be groups running at various speeds, ranging from 3:30 to 5:30 marathons. There will be no course marking, and so I HIGHLY encourage you to familiarize yourself with the route and download it onto your watch/phone in case you get separated from other runners!

Race Morning: 

We will park/meet in the extra parking lot to the west of Costco (12300 W Dodge Rd), to the north of Tommy’s Express Car Wash. 

• 5:45 AM, Race bibs will be available for pickup. Tunes will be bumping, along with coffee, hand warmers, and Kirkland snacks to get you ready! 
• 6:45 AM, National anthem, final race announcements, group photo. 
• 7:00 AM, Race starts!

7.7 miles- Costco- La Vista (12515 Portside Pkwy)

A Final Reminder: **This is absolutely NOT put on by a professional race company.** This is meant to be a fun run, and the idea was cultivated by a couple of runners here in Omaha, who love Costco and also don't mind doing crazy/stupid things when it comes to running. There will not be any official timing, awards, or race swag, which you might find at a sanctioned race. It is more or less a large, organized group run with everything Costco :)
