About this race

  • 8:00 AM start for 8k
  • 9:00 AM start for kids' 1/2 mile
  • $20 for GCRC Members, $22 for Non-Members (plus RunSignUp's fee)

  • $25 for late registration the morning of the race.

  • USATF certified course: MS22002MS. Starts at Fort Maurepas, goes along front beach, up the bridge, and back.

8k Racewalker

Race walkers must follow USATF race walking guidelines. "Race walking requires the competitor to maintain contact with the ground at all times and requires the leading leg to be straightened as the foot makes contact with the ground. It must remain straightened until the leg passes under the body."
