About the Event
The Stallings Island Chapter, NSDAR along with the Augusta University Jaguar Battalion (Army Reserve Officer Training Corps) will host a 5K and Family Friendly 1 Mile Run for America's 250th Birthday.
Come Party Like It's 1776!
- Cannon 5K Start
- Patriotic Costumes Encouraged
- Military Representation Encouraged!
Safety Restrictions: No Pets / Headphones at your own risk / No Strollers / You must be 10 years old to run the 5K.
Join fellow runners on July 4, 2026 for the Party Like It Is 1776 5K and Family Fun Run. It's a fantastic 5K, Flag Bearer featuring a flat and fast course in Augusta.

Check in begins at 7:30 AM. Race start time 8:00 AM. All 5K Finishers will receive a finishers medal. All Rucker and Flag Bearer finishers will receive an additional medal for their class. (Ruck Plate Rental Add-on Available) Each Age Level group listed with recognize 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place finishers: Youth 10-14 Youth 15-19 Adults 20-29 Adults 30-39 Adults 40-49 Adults 50-59 Masters/Seniors 60+
