Welcome to our 2nd Annual:
P.A.W.S. & Pals 5K
Keep the mission going in a fun and meaningful way—register today and join us on Race Day for a morning with a purpose! By participating in our 5K event, you’ll help raise funds to cover the medical emergencies that often arise when we take in surrendered and abandoned pets. Whether you choose to make it a fast, competitive run or a relaxed, non-competitive walk, we thank you for your support and look forward to meeting you—and your pets!

- To Register (In-Person) on Race Day: 7:30am-8:30am
- Check-In Time for those who Pre-Registered Online: 8:20am-8:40am
- Line-Up: 8:45-9:00am (Runners in Front, Walkers in Back)
- Race Start Time: 9:00am
- Race End Time: 11:30am
Timekeeping
Volunteers will unofficially track times with stopwatches.
Medals, Prizes, Snacks & Drinks
- PARTICIPANTS: Will receive a Medal, Snacks & Water
- PETS: Will receive a Bandana, Snacks & Water
- WINNERS: Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals & Prizes awarded to the top 3 finishers in each group: Men/Women/Pets

- Who is P.A.W.S? - P.A.W.S. is an Indiana not-for-profit corporation in Hancock County. Our programs are funded completely from donations, grants and fundraising events. With the exception of the cats at the PetSmart Adoption Center in Greenfield and our Cattery, all of our rescues are in foster homes.

Join fellow runners on May 9, 2026 for the P.A.W.S. & Pals 5K 2026. It's a fantastic 5K featuring a flat and fast course in Greenfield.

5K Run/Walk
This ticket includes 1 runner/walker. If you have dogs you would like to bring to this event, you may bring them free of charge. We just ask that your pets be leashed and up-to-date on vaccinations. To Register (In-Person) on Race Day: 7:30am-8:30am Check-In Time for those who Pre-Registered Online: 8:20am-8:40am Race Starts Promptly at: 9:00am Race fee includes: -Race Ticket for 1 runner/walker -Participant medal plus 1 bandana for each dog with you at the race -Bottled water (plus disposable dog bowls) -Snacks (plus dog treats provided by Nutty Mutt) Winners' medals and prizes will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in each group: Men/Women/Pets. In-Person Registration Ends 5/9/2026 at 9:00am.
