PGB GOLD STAR RUN 5K SuperHeroes vs Villains Event (Costume Contest)
DISCLAIMER/TRANSPARENCY: 100% of all donations raised from the Inaugural “PGB GOLD STAR RUN” 5K Run.Walk.Roll Race (minus race expenses) will support the PGB Ziglar Classic Award (PZCA). For 2023 the PZCA will benefit the "PGB Fallen Heroes Family Camp, and the PGB Section 60 Christmas Gift Project". AWARDS We have some amazing awards for Males & Females, including CASH! 1st place: $100 & a Trophy 2nd place: $75 & a Trophy 3rd place: $50 & a Trophy Top Master (50+) $100 & a Trophy Top Wheelchair $50 & a Trophy Certificates for everyone in the following groups: •Top 3 overall Male and Female runners -Top 2 Males and Females of each age group (12-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+) •Top Male and Female master (40+) •Top Huntsville Residents •Top Wheelchair •Top Hand Cycle •Top 3 teams of each division Best Superhero Costume Contest Male & Female: First Place $25 – in Cash Second Place $15 – in Cash Third Place $10 – in Cash Bring your A-Game and you can win cash! Vendor/Sponsor Displays Food and Drinks for all registered participants Certificates for the biggest fundraisers (individual and team), and largest group of registrants (Boots on the Ground) Virtual Race Option In honor of our Fallen First Responder and the Victims of Domestic Abuse taken from us, PGB will remember as many of them in the “Remembrance Mile” that their families have given us permission. Amenities Post-Race food and beverages will be provided. 5K participants will receive a medal, Tech T-shirt, and Branded BIB (if they register on time) with space for you to place a picture of the person you are honoring/running for. Packet Pick-Up and Race Expo Race Packet, including race bib, technical t-shirt, and information, can be picked up at our race expo.
