About this race

This is the Mayor's Cup: Runners from each and every Philadelphia community - fast runners and slow runners, trail runners and road runners, ultra-runners and 5K specialists, competitors and volunteers - coming together to represent the "team" they call their own.

5 Events, held on a single day, with a single start/finish line.  Clubs from all over the city, coming together for competition and socialization: if you do not have the password for your club (or want to find a new club so that you can get involved), all club contact information can be found here.

There are no individual winners.  The top male and female from each club, in each race, will earn points (based on ranking) for their club.  The winning club will be the Mayor's Cup Champion.

May the Best Club Win.

The Mayor's Cup was born out of a simple observation: Philadelphia has a tremendous network of local Running Clubs that challenge, motivate, and inspire allegiance from their runners.

Each race distance has a separate start time. Please verify your start time!

All registrations require a password from your club - if you do not know the password for your club, please contact your Team Captain via the information in their club page (here).

Week 4: Speed Week Kids 1 Mile

Children (10 and under) associated with any participating runners (or volunteers) at the race can participate in an untimed 0.9ish mile fun run around the full loop of Belmont Plateau.  While participants in the fun run will not score for the team, the intention is to get kids involved in the fun of running and show them how much fun running can be when surrounded by a supportive team.  The associated adult does not have to be a parent (Aunts, grandparents, family friends are fine), but a guardian must register the child and sign the waiver for them. Kids will full names are not be visible on registration lists. Kids are encouraged to run on the own (the course will be marked with cones, and volunteers around the plateau), but an adult may accompany their kids if needed.
