Pie Pursuit 5K — Run for a Cause, Stay for the Fun
Join the 746 Sports Foundation for our inaugural Pie Pursuit 5K, a community-centered fun run with a festive twist! Participants are encouraged to dress in their favorite costumes — from turkeys to pilgrims — and take part in a lighthearted 5K that features family-friendly pie-toss zones along the course.
This unique event is more than just fun and games — it's a fundraiser with purpose. All proceeds directly support local youth through scholarships, free sports events, and community programs organized by the 746 Sports Foundation.

Custom Pie Pursuit race shirts and finisher medals
Prizes awarded for best costumes, fastest finishers, and most pie-covered runners

Pie Pursuit 5K
Costumes Encouraged! Show off your festive spirit — prizes awarded for best individual and group costumes. Pie Toss Zones: Participants will have the chance to toss (soft, whipped cream) pies in designated safe zones along the route. Totally optional, but highly encouraged! All Ages Welcome: This is a family-friendly event. Strollers, walkers, and runners of all experience levels are welcome. Proceeds Stay Local: 100% of funds raised go directly toward youth scholarships, free sports events, and community programming in Shafter. Early Registration Includes: Commemorative Pie Pursuit t-shirt, race bib, and finisher medal. Post-Race Celebration: Enjoy music, snacks, games, and a photo booth to capture your whipped cream victory face! Safety First: All pie materials are non-toxic and safe for skin. Pie zones will be monitored by volunteers.
