This is not your average marathon, it is America's Ultimate Challenge.
Join fellow runners on September 20, 2026 for the Pikes Peak Marathon. It's a fantastic Marathon featuring a flat and fast course in Manitou Springs.

From the start line at City Hall in Manitou, you can see the halfway marker at the Summit of Pikes Peak, almost 8,000ft above you. The challenge is to go from the start, to the summit, and then back down again in under 10 hours.
