Pine Knoll Shores Turkey Trot 5K or 2 mile Dog Walk

Join us for the 14th annual Pine Knoll Shores Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning. The Turkey Trot is a free run/walk event, and all are welcome. The trot begins at 9 a.m.but participants are asked to arrive earlier to check in and get their race bib. You can sign up for either: A 5K (3.1 mile) walk, run or jog that winds through the Crystal Coast Country Club golf course and down a few streets in Pine Knoll Shores or A two-mile dog walk that does not go through the country club but rather traverses the streets of Pine Knoll Shores. We kindly ask if you have a dog or a stroller that you sign up for the two-mile walk as the country club has new greens and they do not want dogs or wheeled vehicles on the course. At the finish, coffee, donuts, hot chocolate and water will be available for participants. This year we are offering online registration for this free event. Same day registration will also be available beginning at 8:15 a.m at the start location. The Turkey Trot is sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Committee and will occur rain or shine. All Ages are welcome.
